  4. StockSynth [public beta v0.9.1]             - 09. March, 2003.

  6. StockSynth allows you to mix the frequencies of different samples. 
  7. You can attach a sound to each object. The sound will be controled 
  8. by the location of the object and also by the distance from the
  9. object to the "microphone". 
  10. Select/unselect the microphone by cliking on it.
  11. Each object's properties can be controled from the control panel. 
  12. Drag and select to make multiple object selection.
  13. There are 3 different modes of looping, each one produces different results.

  32. CNTR + I - Import Sound File
  33. CNTR + S - Save File
  34. CNTR + D - Save File As

  36. General -
  37. Arrow Up - Increase general Volume
  38. Arrow Down - Decrease general Volume
  39. "F" Enable / disable the Info field.
  40. "P" to toggle panning.
  41. "M" to toggle microtones.
  42. "X" to toggle pitch.
  43. "S" to sample from the sound in/mic/etc.. . If Overwrite is selected the selected sound 
  44. in sound palette will be overwritten, if not it will create a new sound on the menu.
  45. 1, 2, 3 keys change the synthesis mode.

  47. Selection -
  48. Click and drag to make selections.
  49. SHIFT + click and drag to add new selection to the previous one.
  50. Control + A to select all (Apple + A on Mac).

  53. Right Click to mute it.

  60. Please note that using the menus (save, save as, open, new ...) will stop the sound. 
  61. If you are in the middle of a performance you may want to use the shortcuts provided instead.
